先日、カヴィルさんのInstagram動画を見ながら訳していてふと思ったのでアンケートを募ったら、思いのほか圧倒的な差が出た。
最近映画も観れてなくて英語耳が衰えてるはずなので、勉強としてもディクテーション（いわゆる口述筆記）をやってみることにした。
で、カヴィルさんの英語だが、個人的にはめちゃくちゃ聴き取りやすい。役柄で話し方も変わるけど、それにしたって聴き取りやすい。
何より発音が正確で、知らないイディオムとかも聞き取ったまま検索すると見つかったりするのがすごい。

Hey everybody.
As some of you may know, my birthday is fast approaching. If you felt so inclined to do anything for my birthday, you can sign up to The Durrell Challenge.
The Durrell Challenge is a 13-kilometer run on my home island of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It is only the 23rd of May, you can also run it virtually from the 21st of May to the 24th of May.
For those of you that don't know, the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust is a charity that is very close to my heart. And it focuses on saving endangered species from the brink of extinction, therefore, promoting biodiversity.
Biodiversity is essential to our planet’s health as we know it.

動画1分弱に対しディクテーションにかかった時間は30分くらいだけど、これは事前に何回か聴いてたからこのくらいで済んだんだと思う。
